The image above is a famous scene from the TV show Friends.
I’ll be honest I’ve not seen too many Friends episodes, but my wife is a big fan. Although, I have seen this episode in which Ross, Chandler, and Rachel are trying to move a heavy couch up some stairs. It’s pretty funny as Ross keeps yelling “Pivot” to try to get his friends to position the couch in a way to allow them to get it upstairs. It ends up being an impossible task as they cut it in half and try to return it to the store.
I know many of you would like to return the year 2020 to the store and get your money back. It’s been rough already and we’re only in April.
Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. No one could have predicted a worldwide shutdown yet here we are. Some of my students are seeing sales figures that rival Christmas while I have others that have been hit hard and they’re needing to figure out how to pivot.
If you’re one of the ones that feel like you’re trying to push an oversized couch up some tiny stairs and the weight is crushing you I’m here to encourage you.
As I said in my email a couple of weeks ago….this was not a surprise to God. If one door is looking like it’s closing right now then know that He has another one waiting for you. And I believe it’s a better door of opportunity.
Every single time I have faced a once prosperous business or a job drying up the Lord has went ahead of me and prepared an even better opportunity.
YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS!
You might just need to pivot to see the new opportunity, but I assure you it’s there.
How can I serve you or help you pivot during this time? Please feel free to reach out anytime at email@example.com.
