How Do They Do It All?

How does my friend Honey grow an Amazon business AND homeschool her 6 kids at the same time?

How do my friends Jimmy and Brittany grow their Amazon business to almost $200,000 per month in sales all while adding additional income streams outside of that Amazon business?

One word….outsourcing.

Jimmy told me that by themselves they were capping out around $25,000 per month in sales. That’s still a great number, but they desired to grow beyond that and they couldn’t alone.  There was just not enough time in the day to make it happen.

Honey often gets asked how she does it all.  She’s a homeschool mom of 6 kids, runs a successful Amazon business and is on the Leadership Team of my Amazon Legends group.
The secret is she’s learned how to leverage other people’s skills to free up her time.

Here are just a few reasons why you should outsource at least parts of your business or even personal life.  Yes.  I said personal life too.  (Are there tasks that either you don’t like to do or that you could hire out cheaper – tasks like mowing the lawn, pulling weeds, cleaning the house, and doing the laundry?)

  1. More free time with your family – the less you have on your plate the more time you’ll have to invest where you wish and for a lot of you it will be family time.  That’s probably the reason you started a business in the first place – to be able to spend more time with your family.

  2. Offload tasks you don’t like – we all have tasks on our to-do list we cringe thinking about.  Those are perfect tasks to give to someone else.  And guess what?  There are people that love to do those things and are good at it.

  3. Start another income stream – with your time freed up from tasks that you don’t like to do or shouldn’t be doing you’ll be able to focus on that new stream of income you’ve been wanting to do, but never seem to have the time for.

  4. Makes your business sellable – at some point you may want to get out of that business you’re in.  If you do EVERYTHING in your business then that’s not a business that someone would want because it’s dependent on you.  If you have systems and processes in place and you’re able to work on your business rather than in it, it means that someone else could come along and run your business like you do.

I know it can be scary to make the leap and let go of some of the control in your business, but allow me to let you in on a little secret….

Once you do it, your time and your mind will be freed up to do those things in your business that only you can do.  And when you focus on those things your business is going to grow.

Trust those of us that have made that leap when we say that outsourcing is a major key to be able to grow your business and achieve the results you want to achieve.

Questions that I often get when I talk about outsourcing are:

How do you know when to make the leap?

What tasks do you outsource?

Where do you find the people or the software to outsource to?

If you have these questions or want to learn more from Jimmy, Honey, and myself we’re starting a 7 module live workshop starting next Thursday, May 21.  In this workshop you’ll learn everything you need to know about outsourcing.
