18 Streams of Income?!?!

In a recent Facebook post my friend Jenni Hunt revealed that she had about 18 different streams of income.  It has got quite a bit of engagement as people are wondering how in the world she has done that.

When you hear this or when someone takes a screenshot of their sales and it’s some ungodly number you aren’t anywhere close to, you either are motivated because “if they can do it, so can I” or it deflates you and makes you feel like a failure for not performing to their level.

My encouragement to you is run your own race.  STOP comparing your business or even your life to someone else’s.  You don’t know their situation.  Maybe they don’t have a full time job like you do or maybe they’re not homeschooling 4 kids like you are.

Now I’m not saying that you should find excuses if your business is not where you want it to be or if you’re not putting in the work.  I’m saying stop looking at what others have and are doing and focus on you.  You can do this!!!

Now back to Jenni’s 18 different streams of income…..we’re not talking about a list that looks like this:

1) Selling on Amazon
2) Running a Daycare
3) Mowing lawns on the weekend
4) Hanging Christmas Lights for neighbors
5) Fitness Trainer

The above don’t complement each other at all.  While you could build out streams of income that have nothing to do with each other, it’s MUCH easier to take one skill or one theme and create multiple streams from that.

For example, let’s say you make the best paleo desserts (no dairy, no gluten, no sugar) that people who don’t necessarily eat that way wouldn’t even realize they don’t have all the other stuff in them.  Melane buys desserts like this from a local small business owner.  I’ve talked to this girl about how she could take her skill and create new streams of income from it.

What would you tell her?

Here are some of the ideas I gave her…

  1. Recipe Book
  2. Course on how to bake paleo desserts
  3. Blog
  4. Youtube Channel with instructional videos
  5. Private label her own paleo ingredients

This is a tiny list.  There are so many opportunities out there to take one skill or one piece of content and create multiple streams of income.

Is this something you want to do?

2020?!?!? Are you Kidding Me?

Just saying the year 2020 makes me think of the Jetsons cartoon that I used to watch as a kid, but where are all the flying cars and the robots that should be cleaning my house for me?  🙂

I may still have to load our dishwasher, but I’m excited about a new year.  It’s like a fresh start.

These last few weeks of the year are a perfect time to be thinking about what you want 2020 to look like.

Can I be honest with you?

I’ve read so many books about goal setting and achieving goals, being productive and focused yet I’ve failed so many times.

I find myself being busy, but not always on the most important work.  I work from home and I wouldn’t change that for anything, but having a toddler clamoring for my attention at all times makes it challenging to get things done.

Over the years I’ve set goals and failed to meet them and then felt like setting goals wasn’t for me.

But I can go back into my journal and see where I’ve written down some pretty major things and I’m living out right now what I wrote in my journal.  So I’m not a complete failure.  🙂
I will always be a student of how to be more productive because time is precious and I think setting goals is important, but I no longer let it bother me if I fall short.  Because as I look back over the last 11 years of having my own business I can clearly see that I’ve progressed  Business is better than it was and I’m doing work that I love.

So let me encourage you if you feel like you’ve been a failure at setting goals.  Your goals can be in pencil which means they can be revised.  The important thing is to write something down, take action on it, and review those goals often.  If 3 months down the road you need to change the goal do it and don’t feel bad about it.  Just keep moving forward daily on those actions that will move your business forward.

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Is it Really?

I love the holidays.  I love looking at the Christmas tree that my wife Melane has decorated (yes…already).

I love turning on my radio the day after Thanksgiving because that’s when my favorite radio station starts playing Christmas music.

I love listening to more Christmas music when I get dragged into a store with Melane.

Christmas, the holidays and especially Christmas music has the same joyful affect on many people as it does me, but not everyone has the same response.

According to this article from the Cleveland Clinic “how we react to early Christmas tunes has a lot to do with what our brains associate with the holiday season.  For people who’ve had great Christmases, full of celebration and good feelings when they were young, they’re going to be more welcoming of all the cues that go on with Christmas — and Christmas music is one of those really powerful cues.  On the flip side, if someone has difficult memories associated with the holidays, hearing music that is associated with this time of year may bring back some not-so-pleasant feelings.”

I pray about what to write in these emails.  I don’t outsource this task in my business.  To me this weekly email is important because it gives me a chance to speak encouragement into your life.  You might get beat down all week and I want this to always be a breath of fresh air, but my words alone have no affect.  That’s why I pray because I want His words to fill this page.  His words can change your life.

For some of you this might be the first holiday season without a loved one.

You might be going through some hard stuff which is overshadowing the holidays and making them seem less than joyful.

The Lord wants you to know that He sees what you’re going through, He loves you and He’s right there with you.  He’s your loving Heavenly Father and He wants you to enjoy this Holiday season.

I’m a big believer in the power of prayer so how can I be praying for you?
I don’t just say this to fill up space in my email.  I have a Trello board with names of people who have written to me with prayer requests and I pray for these people by name.  I’d be honored to add you to this list.  Just hit reply and let me know how I can be praying for you.

One tip I’ll leave you with that has helped me a lot when circumstances are trying to get me down…be thankful.

Rather than focus on the difficult things be thankful for the good things in your life.  We all have a lot to be thankful for.

Fill in the Blank: ______ are the Fuel of Business

Sales?

Hard work?

Customers?

Perseverance?

These are all good things and much needed in a successful business, but I believe the answer is……

RELATIONSHIPS

My friend and mentor Jim Cockrum said in his most recent podcast episode that “Business is fueled by relationships.
Relationships are fueled by connections and conversation.  The most
powerful connection and conversation you will ever have is in person.  The next best thing is the greatest communication tool we’ve ever been given which is the internet using voice, face and connecting that way. That’s
going to fuel your business.”

When I look at my business and all the streams of income I have I can point back to a relationship or person that helped create that or that I created with another person.

Selling physical products online can be traced back to a desire that was planted in me after reading Jim Cockrum’s book Silent Sales Machine.
In 2012 you might recall that I won an auction that Jim conducted on eBay.  As a result of that my wife and I were blessed to have lunch with him.  That lunch kicked off a friendship that exists to this day and has been
responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue (maybe more) on projects we have partnered on.
What fueled all that?  A relationship.

In 2014 I met Jenni Hunt at CES II, a conference for e-commerce sellers.  We became friends and that relationship lead to us creating Private Label the Easy Way (Proven Private Label) mentoring program for private label sellers and more recently a program called the Master Plan of Influence where we help people turn their passion into a stream of income.

The Amazon Legends group that I co-founded back in 2016 came about after meeting and getting to know my buddy Danny Stock.

In Jim’s recent episode he says that if you’ll connect with just 5 people per week using the internet (Skype or Zoom not email), phone or in person your business will explode.

Why?

Opportunities will present themselves.  If you’re talking to a customer you’ll learn their pain points and find new ways to serve them.
If you talk to a local business you might find out what’s holding them back from going to the next level.  Maybe you can help.

If you talk to a fellow e-commerce seller you’ll learn what’s working in their business right now.  Maybe you can implement that in your business.

It sounds so simple yet most people don’t do it.  In this age of text
messages and email it’s too easy to sit behind a computer and not make meaningful connections with people.
Pretend it’s 1982 and meet someone for coffee or pick up the phone and call them and ask them this question I learned from Jim also…..

“What are you working on and how can I help?”

Or as my friend Brian Dixon says “What are you working through?”

This will get them talking about their current challenges and/or current projects and who knows you just might have the answer they’re looking for.  For sure, though, you’re building a relationship with that person and that’s priceless.

From Chaos to Clarity

Endless to do lists.

Social Media.

Shiny objects.

A crying toddler 🙂

All of these and more can contribute to chaos in our lives.  When things are chaotic we’re just surviving not thriving.

My friend Mariane Renner, this week’s podcast guest and author of the book Chaos to Clarity says “Chaos is the biggest thief in our lives.  It robs us of our goals, our dreams, our true purpose, and of living the lives we were meant to live.”

When chaos is present we may be busy but we’re usually busy with distractions.

So how do we break the cycle of chaos?  Marianne says we need to get focused on our purpose.

We have to know our why.  When we have clarity of purpose we’ll be directed to the next right action and cut through the chaos.

Doing the next right action means we’re not busy with those distractions and we’ll be moving our business forward.

Step Out of your Comfort Zone and Into your Calling

Yesterday I had the privilege of chatting with a gentleman who wrote a fiction book and he was wondering how to get the word out about it and to create a stream of income from it.

Like any product or service you have, you want to find out who your ideal audience is and where they hang out – online and even offline.  His book has a message behind it so one idea I had for him was to find events he could speak at.  He basically said that it would be outside his comfort zone to do that.  I told him that I totally empathize with him and began to explain what has really helped me in this area because much of what I do is or at one time was outside of my comfort zone.

I was praying about this one time and sensed the Lord telling me that the message I have is not about me.  It’s His message and I’m just the messenger.  For me it’s way more comfortable to talk about someone else and what they’re doing so the idea of having to promote me is just not something I like to do.
So when I learned that I’m only the messenger, that totally took the
pressure off and made me more comfortable sharing and promoting this message that’s on my heart.

Is there something on your heart that you know has been placed there by the Lord?  Don’t hold back in fear of being seen as self-promoting.  It’s not about you.  It’s not about me.  It’s about Him and the message He wants to use you to bring to the world.  Allow yourself to be used by Him.

Get over any anxiety you have about it and just get the job done.

Write that book.

Start that blog.

Whatever it is….get it done.

The world needs it.

“You Make it Seem so Effortless”

Yesterday I was blessed with the opportunity to meet with a friend and chat with him about how to take his love and knowledge of baseball and turn it into a business.

Was I working?  Yes.

Was I having fun?  Yes.

I feel like one of my gifts is helping people see opportunity…helping them figure out how to take something they’re passionate about and turn it into streams of income.  I absolutely love the brainstorming process and watching as the light bulbs go off in their heads and they also see the hundred dollar bills floating around in the air.

When I’m in meetings or calls like this I feel like I’m in what my friend Dan Miller calls the Zone of Genius.  It’s that place where you’re able to use those unique abilities God has placed within you and you feel fulfilled.

As I was thinking about what to write in this email, I was reminded of a chapter in my book Finding your Grace Place.  (You can get it for free here – http://findingyourgraceplace.com/free)

That chapter is called “Effortless” and it was referring to a compliment that I received from a colleague about how I run my business.

I work hard, but like yesterday’s meeting with my friend it doesn’t often feel like work.  I was playing in my Zone of Genius or what I call in my book my Grace Place.

1 Corinthians 15:10 sheds some light on this:

“But by the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me.”

It was the grace of God working through me and I was in my grace zone. When you’re doing something you’re good at and you’re graced for, it’s fun.

In contrast, when you’re not good at something it’s no fun at all.

Where’s your Grace Place or your Zone of Genius?  Spend more time there.  When you step into what God has called you to do and you’re relying on His grace, you can’t help but to change the world around you by His grace which is flowing through you.

Others will describe your life as effortless and you’ll just smile and say “It’s the Grace of God.”

The Key to Overcoming what’s Holding you Back

If you think of your life as a movie what genre would it be?

I know we all have times when it might be a comedy or times when things aren’t going well or you’re going through some difficult times and you would call it a horror show.  But if you had to select one genre that sums up what your life has been so far what would it be?

My podcast guest this week is my good friend Christie Hertzler.  Several years ago Christie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  Much like an actor in a movie Christie didn’t choose that script.  She could have continued to play the actor role and let that script play out for her.  No one would fault her if she let that diagnosis define her life and she made that an excuse for why she couldn’t build a business.  Rather Christie took the role of producer and writer and re-wrote the script of her life.  So instead of sitting at home feeling sorry for herself she started an Amazon business and now has multiple streams of income.

Life isn’t always fair and you might be dealing with some serious things that could hold you back from what God has called you to do.  I encourage you….re-write your script.  I believe that what the enemy meant for your harm, God will turn into something good.  Your mess will become your message.  That horror movie will turn into an inspiring story of someone (you) who overcame what life threw at them and built an incredible business and life.

Here’s a short clip from my interview with Christie that will inspire you –

How to Stop Chasing the Squirrels

Do you sometimes feel like the hunting dog that gets distracted by every squirrel it sees?

I know I do.

You take a course and jump in with both feet like the dog that has just been unleashed into the woods, but a squirrel runs right in front of you and you get distracted and start chasing the squirrel instead.  Even worse there are scads of squirrels all over the place and you want to chase them all.  Can you relate?

The good news is everywhere you look you see opportunity.  The bad news is everywhere you look you see opportunity and you let it take your focus off of what you need to be doing.  This is a common ailment in the age of the internet we’re living in.  There is definitely opportunity everywhere which is crazy exciting.  There are so many ways to make money online and while many of them are really good ideas only a few are the right ideas for you.

Fortunately, there is a cure for this ailment that we call Shiny Object

Syndrome and I’m going to give it to you right now.

All you need is a pair of glasses.  Let me explain……

Earlier this week I carved out some time in the morning to pray and think about my business.  I wrote down the things I really enjoy doing and I thought about who the ideal person is I’m trying to serve.

For my ideal tasks I thought about whether they get me closer to my overall goals or farther away.  For example, I value my free time.  I never want to be the guy that works 12 hour days at the expense of my family.  So through that lens I look at potential opportunities and the tasks that need to get done in my business.

This is the cure to Shiny Object Syndrome….getting a clear focus on what you’re trying to accomplish and evaluating opportunity through that lens.  Hence, put on your glasses.

What are your ultimate goals?

What do you enjoy doing?  Try to do more of that.

Who is your ideal audience?

I’m sure there are other questions that you can ask yourself to filter

opportunities through, but the important thing is to put on your glasses.

Get a clear focus of what you’re trying to accomplish and your why of doing it.  Then those opportunities (shiny objects) that don’t fit will be much easier to say no to.

Hit by a Truck and Shot in the Chest But His Business Still Thrives

My friend Benji shouldn’t even be alive.

In May of 2018 while sitting in traffic he was hit from behind by an 18-wheeler going over 50 mph.  It knocked him and his truck ¼ mile through a power line pole and a fence.  If that wasn’t bad enough he suffered a ladder to the back of his head causing a skull fracture and a brain hemorrhage which resulted in 5 days in ICU and 6 full months out of work.

It’s a miracle that he survived.  That accident would have been enough excitement for most people, but Benji “decided” to get accidentally shot in the chest in February of this year.
He and some friends were on a guys trip in Georgia and Benji took a 40 caliber hollow point dead center to his chest.  At the time they were at a state park a full hour away from the hospital.

This accident resulted in a 28 day stay in the hospital 3-1/2 hours away from home.

For most folks accidents like this would result in severe financial stress due to missing so much work, but because Benji and Angie had built up their Amazon business it continued to pay the bills while Angie was able to nurse him back to health.

About 4 years ago they started with $300 and have grown their business to where they’ll hit about $400,000 in sales for 2019!

You can listen to the rest of Benji’s story in the most recent podcast episode here – http://streamsofincomeradio.com

Hopefully you don’t have to endure a severe car crash and a gunshot to the chest, but I do want you to be like Benji and have a business that can allow you to take time off (not in the ICU, though) and it still pay the bills.

It took Benji and Angie 4 years to get to where they are now.  2023 will come no matter what.  It’s up to you what your business looks like when it does.  Will you be wishing you took action now or will you be at $400,000 in sales?

It’s up to you.

The Super Secret Key to Knowing EXACTLY What to Sell

“You look like you want a spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a lemonade”

Is that what you hear when you’re greeted by a friendly Chick-fil-a employee?

No.  What do they or any other fast food restaurant employee say instead?

Yes……”How may I help you?”

My VAs (Virtual Assistants) from the Philippines are here this week for our Amazon Legends Family Reunion (that’s what we call our conferences) and I introduced them to Chick-fil-a for the first time.  You’re welcome, Zech and Rain!  🙂

So what’s the super secret way to find out what your customers want?

ASK!

In my interview with photographer Katie Lamb she talks about how

listening to her audience lead the way to creating multiple streams of income.

(You can listen to her episode here – http://streamsofincomeradio.com)
Katie is in a business in which in order to make more money she has to book more sessions or work more hours.  She’s already swamped being a mom of almost 4 year old twins so she needed to do something differently.

Rather than guess at what her audience might want she started listening and engaging with them.  She now makes money through her course, coaching, and even brand sponsorships.

Do you need to create multiple streams of income?
Find a group to serve, ASK them what they need, and fill it.  No guessing involved.

What are you Working Through?

My podcast guest for this week is my friend Brian Dixon, author of the book Start with Your People.  In our interview we talked about this question – What are you Working Through?

This is a question he asks of friends, clients and even strangers.

My friend Jim Cockrum has a similar way of asking this – “What are you working on and how can I help?”

These are brilliant questions and here’s why…..it gets people to talk and allows you the opportunity to figure out how to serve them.

I know most of you read my emails, take my courses or read my books because you want to make more money and you might be wondering why this topic of service comes up so much in my emails.  The truth is…. if you want to make more money you have to know how to serve people.

You can guess at what they might need, buy why not just ask them?

A question like “What are you working through?” will open the door for them to tell you what they’re struggling with, what their pain points are.

As someone who might have their solution this is super valuable information.  And even if you don’t have the solution you just became a listening ear for someone and you’re showing them how much you care just by asking and being interested in them.

As I’m writing this I’m in Atlanta for the Paid to Speak Conference.  At lunch yesterday I was talking to a fellow attendee about ideas on how she could serve her audience.  She has just written a book as well and she was wondering what the next step might be.

She could guess at what her audience might need or she can simply ask them.

I told her to engage with those members in her Facebook group or maybe even offer a short coaching call to a few of them to get some valuable feedback about where they are in their journey.  Either of these will provide valuable information and will give her insight on the next product or service she needs to create to serve those people.  Rather than her guessing, this will be the exact product or service they need because it came from talking to her customers.

So the point to this is if you want to make more money in your business you have to serve people.  To do that you have to know what they want and to do that you can simply ask them.

Because you’re my customers and friends let me ask you….What are you working through?

Maybe your business is good, but you’re dealing with something in your family or personal life.  Shoot me an email (ryan@ryanreger.com) and I’d be more than happy to pray for you.

Have a blessed weekend, my friend!!!

Is It Okay to Dream Big?

Last week I had the opportunity to speak at the Proven Conference and one of my breakout sessions was about dreaming and creating a vision board.

In that session I lead the attendees through an exercise I call “Your Ideal Day.”  In this exercise I had them take out a sheet of paper or their phone and think through what their ideal day looks like?
Some of the questions I asked were…

What time are you waking up?

Where are you waking up?  Are you in your dream home?

What are you doing that day?

One of the attendees of that session told me it was a difficult exercise for her to go through because she felt like she didn’t have permission to dream – that it was somehow selfish to think about what she wanted.

Back in 2009 I wrote this in my journal “What if God could use me to teach people to dream again?”

Well…I’m giving you permission to dream.  We all start life off as dreamers.  Think about children for a minute.  They’re really good at thinking big.  But somewhere along the line we get “practical” and settle.  I’m telling you it doesn’t have to be that way.

Maybe you listened to someone or several someones that told you to play it safe – to take the safe job, that those things you used to dream about aren’t possible for you.  I’m here to tell you that they’re all possible!!
Those dreams that God placed in your heart are there for a reason and if you’re still breathing they can be switched back on and come to life.

How bad do you want it?

Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone to make them happen?

If you’re struggling with feeling selfish for dreaming big dreams let me throw this at you….I think it’s selfish not to.We’re not here on this earth just to live life for ourselves.  Those dreams in your heart are for someone else.  There is someone waiting for you to step out and do what you are called to do.

If you’re content to only live for yourself you’re missing out on a HUGE blessing and those that you need you are missing out as well.

So dream BIG!

It’s About the Peeps

I’m not talking about those marshmallow treats that line the shelves at Easter time.  I’m referring to people.

I had the tremendous opportunity of speaking several times at the Proven Conference the past few days.  It’s also the reason for not getting this email out yesterday.  (Sorry!)

My favorite part of conferences is meeting students of mine or people that follow me online or seeing friends.  There’s no greater feeling than when someone walks up to me and says that something I’ve taught them has changed their life.  It’s very humbling.

It’s the privilege of my life to be able to be used by the Lord to bless someone else or teach them something that makes a difference in their life or business.  Many times I have to hold back tears when a guy tells me that he has been able to quit his job because of what they learned in one of my courses or communities.  These interactions fuel me.

It makes me want to serve even more people – to see and hear more success stories.  It’s why I do what I do.

You might be thinking “Well that’s good for you, Ryan, but I’m just getting started” or “Ryan, I’m just trying to pay the bills.”

It’s so easy to focus on only us and the challenges and issues we’re facing.  Most people never go beyond their own lives so they’re too busy to see those around them they can help.

I believe you were put here for something bigger.  You’re not here just to live it for yourself.  You have gifts and talents that others need.  I challenge you….in the midst of everything not being perfect in your life, find someone you can bless.  Find someone that needs something you offer.

Luke 6:38 says “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
It will come back to you.

It’s all about people.

With that said, how can I serve you?

Dreams are Like Seeds

I’m not a farmer, but I know that when a farmer plants seeds he expects a harvest.

Now if he plants corn on Monday will he be able to harvest it on Friday?

That would be awesome, but corn takes anywhere from 60 to 100 days to grow.  What happens in that waiting period?  Does the farmer just go home and wait for it to pop up?

No.  He has to protect that seed – making sure it’s getting enough water and preventing pests from stealing his harvest.

Dreams are much the same way.  I believe God plants dream seeds in our heart.  It’s up to us to make sure that seed is in the right environment to grow.  We water that seed by the words we speak over it.  If you’re constantly telling yourself you can’t do it or are around people who are discouraging you and those dreams you’ll never reach your potential.  You might not tap into it at all.

But if you’re in a positive, encouraging environment – surrounding yourself with people who are speaking life into your dreams and you’re watering that seed with your own faith-filled words (opposite of fear-filled) that seed will grow and turn into a bountiful harvest.

It might not always be easy.  There will be thunderstorms and pests that come along and try to steal your dream.  But how bad do you want those dreams that have been deposited into your heart?

There will always be an opportunity to give an excuse as to why it can’t happen.  There will be obstacles.  There will be days when it looks like nothing’s happening.

But God is at work behind the scenes.  Don’t let go of His promises.  Don’t let go of that dream he’s placed in your heart.

 It will come to pass.

How bad do you want it?

When they See a Light at the End of a Tunnel, they’re Convinced it’s a Train

I’ve just started reading a book by one of my favorite authors, John Maxwell.  The title is “Becoming a Person of Influence.”
The subtitle is “How to Positively Impact the Lives of Others.”  I love that subtitle because it’s really the heart behind everything I’m doing in business.  Anyway, here’s a short section that really stood out to me:

“Not long ago we saw a Shoe comic strip by Jeff MacNelly that showed Shoe, the crusty newspaper editor standing on the mound in a baseball game.  His catcher said to him, “You’ve got to have faith in your curve ball.”  In the next frame Shoe remarked, “It’s easy for him to say.  When it comes to believing in myself, I’m an agnostic.”

That’s the way too many people feel today.  They have trouble believing in themselves.  They believe they will fail.  Even when they see a light at the end of the tunnel, they’re convinced it’s a train.  They see a difficulty in every possibility.  But the reality is that difficulties seldom defeat people; lack of faith in themselves usually does it.  With a little faith in themselves, people can do miraculous things.  But without it, they have a really tough time.”

In my experience of teaching people how to start and grow a business this is so true.  The people that don’t believe they can do it, don’t.  And those that face difficult circumstances but believe they can rise above those circumstances do exactly that.

I know many of you are facing things that are hard and you’re wondering if you can make your business work for you.  Like Shoe you might find it hard to believe in yourself.  Maybe you’ve failed at other business ventures.  Maybe you have people telling you you’re going to fail again.  Maybe sometimes you even find yourself telling yourself that you’re going to fail again.

Well, don’t be afraid of failure.  One of my good friends, Tyson Priest, posted this on his Facebook timeline and it’s spot on “The reason we are afraid of failure is because we see it as the opposite of success.  Failure is not the opposite of success.  Failure is one of many ingredients to success.”

If you’re reading this and have struggled to believe in yourself then allow me to believe in you today.  I have seen so many students of mine rise up above serious obstacles and build an amazing business.  You can do it too!!

Exceedingly Abundantly

One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Ephesians 3:20.  In the New King James version it says “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
I also love the Amplified version which reads “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].”

I believe with all my heart that God wants to bless you more than you want to be blessed.
He has a plan for you that is bigger than your plan.

You started your business to provide for your family, but God wants to use your business to bless your whole neighborhood.  He’s always thinking bigger.

Your dream might be to be able to finance for your whole church’s mission trip.  His dream for you is to be able to finance the missions trips of every church in your city.

Your dream might be to get completely out of debt…even paying off your mortgage.  His dream is for you to pay off other people’s mortgages too.

Your dream might be to build your business up to quit your job so that you can spend more time with your family.  His dream is to not only do that for you, but to give you a platform in which you can teach other people how to do the exact same thing.

Whatever your dream is, His is bigger.  WAY bigger.

I walked into the radio station a few weeks ago to discuss advertising options, but walked out with my own radio show.  That’s exceedinglyabundantly above anything I could have imagined.

The Lord wants to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you can ask or think in your life too.

Are you giving Him the permission to do so?

Are you Living your Ideal Day?

To me the opposite of an ideal day is someone else or something else determining how I’m spending every moment.

For example…

an alarm clock that tells me I have to get up even when I don’t want to

a boss that tells me I can’t have the days off I want

a job that says I have to leave my family to go to work when my kids want to go to the zoo that day

a paycheck that says I don’t have enough money to take my family on vacation

Does this describe what your typical day looks like?

Maybe you’re super excited that today is Friday and that the 2 days of the week are almost here in which YOU get to decide how you’re going to spend your time.

To sum it up, an ideal day is one in which you have the freedom to choose what you’re going to do for the most part.  It’s not a pipe dream.  It’s how I’ve been blessed to spend the last 10 years.

I desperately want that for you and I described how you can get started living that life on a webinar this past Tuesday that I titled
“5 Years from Now”.

You can catch the replay here – https://youtu.be/FlTkvbZG0PY

Feel free to share this with anyone that you feel could benefit from it.
It’s truly my passion to see other people live their dreams.
