I have been getting a lot of questions from sellers outside the US about how to purchase wholesale products and have them sent to Amazon.com.
As you probably know, wholesalers require a sales tax permit and that can only be acquired if you have a business in the US.
After some research, I found a company that can help you get a US business established so that you can apply for a state sales tax permit and order wholesale products. That company is incorporate.com. My friend, Barrington McIntosh, used them to set up his US business.
Once you have your business established and have a resale tax certificate you can start placing wholesale orders. If you don’t already have someone in the US to accept your shipments for you, I highly recommend MyInventoryTeam.com. They will receive your inventory, prepare it, and send it to Amazon for you.
I wish there was an easier way to get around the sales tax certificate requirement, but I haven’t come across one.
