Real Wholesale Sources Ebook…..Coming Soon!

ebook_REALwholesale_2

Do any of these sound familiar?

– Driving around all day going from store to store to source products to come away with only a few items to sell
– Finding a great item with amazing profit potential at a thrift store and selling it quickly at top dollar, but not being able to find it again to repeat the process
– Searching for hours online at all the clearance sites to no avail
– Perusing craigslist looking for items to buy and flip, but having to drive 30 minutes to make a few dollars profit
– Spending all day on a Saturday going from garage sale to garage sale looking at other people’s junk

Don’t get me wrong. All of the above mentioned inventory sources can be a great way to find products to sell online and I personally use many of these sources for products. However, I would prefer to find a great selling product that I can consistently buy to sell online. This is the beauty of buying wholesale.

You might be saying “Isn’t it difficult to get accounts with wholesale sources without a brick and mortar store?” Maybe 15 years ago it was, but things are rapidly changing. More and more wholesalers are seeing that the internet is not going away anytime soon and that if they want to keep up they have to sell to online dealers.

What’s in this product? Over 200 wholesale sources that you can purchase from in your pajamas. Some will require a state sales tax permit (we’ll show you how to get one) and some won’t.

Why would we share this information? We can’t possibly buy all the items we have found so there’s plenty of inventory to go around for everyone.

We will be releasing this very soon. We can email you when it’s ready for purchase if you enter your email address in the form to the right.

FBA: THE Reason Amazon is a good starting point

Earlier this year I wrote a post called “3 Reasons why eBay is a good starting point.”

While I still believe eBay should be one of your income streams if I had the opportunity to do that post over again, I would change it to “eBay can be a good starting point, but why bother when there’s Amazon”. I’m kidding. A little bit.

Seriously. eBay is still an important source of income for us and it’s even better when used in conjunction with Amazon’s FBA service (Fulfillment by Amazon). Did you know that you can have inventory stored in Amazon’s warehouse and have Amazon send them to your eBay customers when you make a sale? For people like me who don’t enjoy packing boxes this is a dream come true. Amazon calls this multi-channel fulfillment.
It has changed our business. Now we can have items listed on both Amazon and eBay and when we make a sale we let Amazon do the packing and shipping for us. Plus we get to take advantage of Amazon’s low shipping rates.

Also with FBA we can literally be on vacation sitting on a beach and our business is still running. Some friends of mine have a very large eBay business, but when they go on vacation they have to shut their business down. I’m trying to convince them to add Amazon to their repertoire.

So while eBay may still be the best avenue to unload your collectibles and should be one of your income streams, if I was going to re-write that post it would be titled something like “FBA: THE Reason Amazon is a good starting point” hence the name of this post.

Ask and You Shall Receive

Tips for Getting Discounts

It’s amazing what you can get when you just ask. Even though I’m going to focus on applying this to your business, this can also be applicable to other areas. My wife and I have found favor and received upgrades at the airport and at hotels just by simply asking.

In your business don’t be afraid to ask for discounts – especially with vendors you do a lot of business with. In our furniture business we were able to negotiate a 5% discount with two of our major suppliers. 5% doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you’re talking about a higher ticket item like furniture, it adds up to be thousands of dollars per year in savings.

Get Started with that Business Idea

Starting a business can be intimidating, but push past that and just get started.

I remember our very first customer after I jumped into the furniture business with my wife. We posted an ad on Craigslist and got a call from a local gentleman. The ad was for a TV stand. We didn’t have a place for him to look at it so he was not comfortable purchasing something he couldn’t see in advance. He was very interested in it and loved the price, but was not willing to commit until he could see it. I didn’t want to take the risk of buying the TV stand from our supplier and then showing it to him, but after we got off the phone, I really felt like he would purchase it if we took the chance. So I called him back and said my wife and I would deliver it to him at no charge and if he liked it he could buy it. If he didn’t like it then we would just try to sell it to someone else. He liked that idea so we ordered it, picked it up, and delivered it to him. He bought it from us and was so impressed with our service that he recommended us to a neighbor who ended up purchasing from us as well. That’s how I got started in the furniture business.

5 Ideas to Quickly Make Money Online

Making money online is not a get rick quick thing. If anyone tells you that if you purchase this one program for the “insanely low price of $17” and tomorrow you’ll have thousands of dollars in your bank account or 10,000 visitors to your website run as fast as you can the other way.

My wife and I didn’t build our business overnight. It took work. That doesn’t mean that you can’t have faster results that someone else, but in most cases you’ll have to get serious about your online business and build it one step at a time.

However building it one step at time doesn’t help when you need money right now to pay the bills or to get that new Ipad.

Here are some suggestions to make some quicker money:

3 Reasons Ebay is a Good Starting Point

If you’re wanting to sell physical products (anything tangible that must be shipped) on the internet one of the best places to start is Ebay.

Why Ebay?

There are many reasons, but here are 3 obvious ones:

1. Traffic

Ebay is ranked #22 worldwide for traffic and ranked #7 in the US. You can certainly start with your own website, but then you have to drive traffic to it. Ebay already has traffic so why not go where all the people already are?

Your Online Business – Don’t Know Where to Start?

So you want to start an online business, but don’t know where to start?

There’s no reason for me to re-invent the wheel here.  I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend one book – The Silent Sales Machine by Jim Cockrum.

Jim lost his “real job” back in 2002 when his wife was 8 months pregnant. He had been selling items on Ebay in his spare time and in confidence told his friend (also his boss) that he was having difficulty staying motivated in his job and was thinking about trying to go full time with his Ebay business in a few months. His friend then told the company Vice President and in 30 seconds they decided to let Jim go. What was horrible news to him and his wife at the time, became one of the best things that ever happened to him.
